Georgia Rast, 83, of Conway went to be with the Lord, May 23, 2024. She was born in Conway on September 19, 1940 to Thomas and Georgia Short. She was a loving mother to her family and friends; she also loved her partner, William (Red) Holland for over 30 years. She loved her friends and was always there to help if needed. She also loved her flowers and giving them away. She enjoyed antiquing, yard sales and collecting items. She will truly be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-father, Theodore Hoekstra and her husband, James Herman Rast. Georgia is survived by her son, Ronald Rast; her companion, William Holland and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in the Chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30. Graveside services will follow 3 pm Thursday afternoon at Forest Hills Cemetery in Alexander.
