Diana Marie Askins, 69, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Paris. She was born on December 18, 1954 in Paris to her parents, Boniface Joseph and Rose Marie (Lovelace) Pfeiffer.

Diana worked several jobs over the years but most recently she worked at the Paris Senior Center. She grew chickens, loved to read, work word searches, watch westerns and sit in the shop and visit with friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Boniface Joseph Pfeiffer; her husband of over 43 years, Ronnie Askins and her daughter, Nichole Marie (Askins) Downs.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Marie Pfeiffer of Paris; one son, Shawn Askins and wife, Amy of Magazine; three brothers, Rick Pfeiffer and wife, Janette of Coal Hill, Steve Pfeiffer and wife, Kristie of Caulksville and Gary Pfeiffer and wife, Lisa of Paris; grandchildren, Payton Gilbert, Emma Askins, Garrett Downs and Lauren Downs; one great-grandchild, Grady Jones and her three sisters in law, Kay Hibbs and husband, Ronnie, Angel Askins and Karla Lukins.


A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will begin following the visitation at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Bill VanMeter. Burial will follow in McKendree Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Randy Hertlein, Leon Frederick, Randy Pfeiffer, Kevin Hibbs, Jake Kremer and Garrett Downs.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Fox, Chris Kennedy, Hermina Fox, Judy Schlaf, Lisa Etzkorn, Marietta Lynch and Shirley Day.
