Judy Annette Catt, 82 years of age, September 25, 1941 - April 5, 2024
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Judy Catt, 82, who passed away peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Judy, known lovingly as Peck, was born on September 25, 1941 at home in Whitten, Arkansas to Florence and JC Byrd. She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Peck touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity and love for her country.
Currently, Peck was employed with Judge Wheeless at the Crittenden County Courthouse and also for Cindy French at Scooples Jewelry. She was an active member of New Beginnings Methodist Church. Not only was Peck a whiz in the kitchen, but she also had a work ethic that was second to none; she inspired everyone around her.
Peck was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Lee ''Buddy'' Catt, Sr.; her son, Troy Lee Catt, Jr. and her parents, Florence Elizabeth Byrd and James Calvin Byrd.
Peck is survived by her children, Dr. Robin Catt and Stacy (Tim) Catt Parker; daughter-in-law, Jerri Catt Crase; three grandchildren, Shelbi (Adam) Cole, Lee (Kristen) Catt, III and Anna Lee Parker; four great grandchildren, Lee Catt, IV (17), Madi Grace Catt (15), Troy Cole (10) and Catt Cole (8); and her siblings, Carolyn (David) Cleveland, Jimmy Byrd, Artie (Janet) Byrd, Mark (Cathy) Byrd and Randy (Karen) Byrd.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 8, 2024 at New Beginnings Methodist Church located at 209 Shoppingway Blvd., Suite B, West Memphis, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Beginnings Methodist Church at PO Box 1369, Marion, Arkansas, 72364.
Peck will be dearly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew her.
