Richard Lynn Merriman, age 68, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 18, 2024.

Richard was born August 7, 1955 in Marion County Arkansas to Joe Franklin and Mary (King) Merriman. A lifetime resident of the area, he drove a dump truck for Marion County Road Department and drove a school bus for the Lead Hill School District for 30 plus years. He liked to play bass guitar. He loved his family and was best know for his coon hunting and walker dogs.

Mr. Merriman is survived by his son, Trent Merriman of Yellville; his daughter, Tanner Merriman of Clarksville, Texas; his brother, Jerry Merriman (Debbie) of Yellville; his sister, Leigha Rogers (Terry) of Yellville, Dean Sartin (Carl) of Fifty-Six; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Elaine Sasser, Mary Jo Akins; his brother, Danny Merriman and one grandchild.
