Mr. Lee Roy Farrier, 91, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away March 09, 2024 in Yellville, Arkansas. He was born on September 23, 1932 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Henry and Opal Gibson and adopted by Eunice and Lillie (Hogan) Farrier. He was married to Erma Farris. He was a member of the Arkana Baptist Church, a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Free Masons in Norfork. He was a hard working man with many talents beginning with the Navy, then as a tech mechanic for Boeing, before moving on to being a supervisor at Timex, a Deputy Sheriff in Norfork, the owner of Norfork Trout Dock, an retired appraiser for Baxter County and finally an author of the book ''Going Home'' of which all proceeds continue to fund scholarships for Norfork High School students. He loved fishing, farming and was a very friendly person that never knew a stranger and loved to tell stories.
Lee was survived by a son, Terrence Farrier; 2 grandchildren, Stephanie Haskell (David) and Jeremy Farrier; 3 great-grandchildren, Andrew Hurley Harris, William Jerane Harris and Marion Faie Andrews and a sister, Peggy Burkholtz. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son, Don Farrier and many brother and sisters.
A visitation will be held between 11-1:00pm on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Arkana Baptist Church with funeral services to follow. Interment will be at Arkana Cemetery.
