Randy was born July 30, 1968 to Dennis and Janie Hampton of Summit, Arkansas. He graduated from Yellville-Summit High School in 1986 and turned his love of cars and people into his livelihood as an outstanding mechanic in his family's auto shop. Randy spent many years serving the people of his beloved hometown of Summit, Arkansas, as both a mechanic and friend with an outstanding sense of humor.

Randy married his wife, De'Anna, in 1991 and they spent 21 years of marriage raising their family. His world changed forever when De'Anna passed in 2012 and Randy and his daughters navigated their grief together. In 2014, Randy became reacquainted with and married an old friend from high school, Sarah Stoops. They celebrated 10 years of marriage on February 15, 2024.

Some of the joys in Randy's life were fast cars, good music, Mountain Dew and Sarah's homemade strawberry cheesecake. He spent many hours working on his dad's cars as the pit crew at drag races. Randy also loved watching NASCAR anytime Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was driving. In high school, Randy explored his love for music as a member of the Yellville-Summit Band percussion section. This love for music evolved into an appreciation for many types of artists, but Pink Floyd stood out as his all-time favorite.

Randy's life was full of love, but not free from struggle. His strength was evident to his family and friends in many ways, but especially through is journey to sobriety. He diligently fought his way to two years sober as of March 1, 2024. Randy loved his brothers and sisters in AA and celebrated their successes as they supported him.

Randy will be remembered as a hardworking man who loved unconditionally. It was evident in the way that he accepted all people and welcomed them into his life. This love and acceptance was most obvious when Randy was with his children and stepchildren. He embraced fatherhood, loved a good ''dad joke'' and cherished the sound of his family's laughter.

Randy was preceded in death by his wife, De'Anna Hampton and his son-in-law, Brent Disney.
