Presley Lenoil Curlin Jr.

September 26, 1952 - February 9, 2024

Presley Lenoil Curlin, JR, better known as ''Ricky'' to all his friends and family, passed away in Jonesboro, AR from a brief illness at the age of 71. He was born to Presley Lenoil Curlin and Dorothy Curlin.

Ricky was born across the pond in England all in part because of being a military family. As they made their way back to the US and after landing in several different states, they finally took root in West Memphis, AR and that is where Ricky called home for the rest of his life.

Ricky grew up with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. A house of 7 kids, you always had someone to hang out or talk to and they did plenty of that growing up together. As younger adults some of their favorite things to do together were to sit around the kitchen table and play poker. When the casinos came along him and his sisters would load up and head to Tunica and even take their momma with them. They had the best times... especially if they won! He spent his early years working for Boise Cascade then moved on to independent contracting until retirement. His hobbies were his passion. In his younger days he had a love for softball and you would find him playing in the red dirt with his team the ''Nasty Boys'' almost every weekend. He loved his buddies and his ball. He also loved racing, both Nascar and the dirt track. He spent many a Saturday night at the West Memphis dirt track helping friends and being part of the crew. Probably his most favorite and rewarding hobby was his love for gardening and cultivating his herbs. He had a knack for his herbs like no other. He had a love for his family. A love for his beloved dog, Jake and we love him so much and he will always be in our hearts as he will be so missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David Curlin, John Curlin; sister, Brenda LaFoy and his nephew, Adam Nelson. He leaves behind his sisters, Debbie Brown, Linda Yawn (Jim) and Ann Fairchild (Bill). Several nieces and nephews and his dog, Jake#2.
