Freddie Paul Snyder, 80, passed away February 8, 2024. He was born October 7, 1943 to Lewis Andrew Snyder and Eva Bland Snyder in Midway, Arkansas.

He is survived by a son, Paul Ashley Brown (Brooke) of Perry Georgia; three siblings, Syrd Daniel Snyder (Ruth) of Aubrey, Arkansas; Mary Lee Clemons (Marshall) of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Shirley Smith (David) of Marvell, Arkansas; son, Paul Ashley Brown (Brooke) of Perry, Georgia; grandchildren, Callie and Garrett Brown of Perry, Georgia.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Winford Lloyd Snyder, Earl Joseph Snyder, Elmer Gene Snyder, Houston Falander Snyder and Lewis Andrew Snyder Jr and sisters, Sylvia Lucille Parker, Joyce Louis Snyder and Nancy Lou Snyder.

Mr. Snyder was a merchant marine. He started work on the River Boat at a very young age and climbed the ranks to River Boat Captain before retirement. His final days were spent at Crestpark in Dewitt, Arkansas and was given excellent care by the nursing staff and administration. The family wants to give a special thank you to everyone there.

A graveside service for Mr. Snyder will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 2:00 P.M at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
