of Mountain View, AR
January 21, 1979 - January 29, 2024
April Roxane Lancaster, 45, of Mountain View, Arkansas lost her courageous and well fought battle with cancer on Monday, January 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving parents and dog Poppy. Curtis and Marcina (Treat) Lancaster carried their only child out of the hospital on Sunday, January 21, 1979 in Batesville, Arkansas. April was a beautiful person both on the inside and out. She was a fun-loving, kind, hilarious, intelligent person who never met a stranger. April livened up the room anywhere she went and always had an incredible smile a mile wide. April received her Bachelor's Degree from UALR, and then continued her education receiving a Master's Degree and EdS Degree in Psychology from ASU in Jonesboro. April had a deep affinity for anything with glitter, Washi tape, fancy shoes, clothing, purses, and writing tools. She also had a great love for Ralph Lauren, Dillard's, Macy's, L.L. Bean and any clothing store that Curtis had a card for. She loved reading, writing, high school band, and enjoyed working at Roller Crouch Funeral Home. She also had a deep love for her beloved animals. April will be greatly missed by those who were lucky enough to have known her. She was the greatest friend anyone could be blessed to have.
April is survived by her loving parents Curtis and Marcina (Treat) Lancaster, and her fur baby, Poppy. April is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Olen and Robbie Lancaster, and maternal grandparents, Afton and Jean Treat along with her two fur babies, Hazel and Bounce.
