Stephen Joseph Scheidt, 66 of Sherwood, passed away on January 27, 2024.

He was born July 10, 1957, in Joliet, Illinois, to William and Inez Scheidt. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two infant children, A.J. Scheidt and William Scheidt.

Stephen was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, 3rd Battalion, 36th Infantry. He worked as a maintenance tech and at one time was the owner of J&S Home Services.

Stephen was a Christian and member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in North Little Rock.

Stephen enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Scheidt; sons, Steve Scheidt and Mike Scheidt; daughters, Ami Scheidt and Katie Braun; brothers, Ted Scheidt and John Scheidt (Debbie); sister, Charlene Scheidt; seven grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 31, at 1:00 p.m., at Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Bro. Mark Stripling officiating. Interment will follow at Conley Cemetery in Mountain Home.

Lunch will be provided Wednesday, January 31, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Free Will Baptist Church in Mountain Home.
