Mr. Steven Virgal Day, 63, of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. He was born December 11, 1960 in Peoria, IL to the late Virgal and Janet (Clark) Day.
Mr. Day worked most of his life as a paramedic and paramedic instructor. He contributed greatly to the paramedic program at ASU Mountain Home, Baxter Regional Medical Center, area schools and throughout the community. He currently worked for the American Heart Association as a senior volunteer manager. He was a member of the Christ Community Church in Mountain Home and was an avid member and donor to the K-Love Ministry.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Lee) Johnson; son, Blake Day; grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Kinsley Dicks, Carter Dicks, Greyson Johnson and many nieces and nephews and family friends that loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Day and two sisters, Lori Cantrell and Becky Whitehouse.
Steven's legacy will forever reside in the hearts of family and friends and all that were touched by his passion for education.
Visitation for Mr. Day will be Monday, January 8, 2024 from 6-8 pm in the Chapel of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Roller Funeral Home of Mountain Home.
All services are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
