Barbara Joyce Young, 77, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on March 19, 1946 in Paris to her parents, Leland and Della (Bullock) Young.

Barbara was a member of the Paris Christian Center. She worked in her younger years at the Pants Factory in Paris and was always taking care of people.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Lola Gray and three brothers, J.D. Young, Darrell Young and Paul Young.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Jay Young and wife, Dorinda, Steve Young and wife, Sherry, Luane Young, Lee Gray, Layne Gray, Melissa Blair, Libby Rangel and husband, Lewis all of the Paris area, Lory Chronister and husband, Jerry of Central City, Ricky Lavorin of Russellville, Nathan Young and Mai Luu of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Matthew Young and wife, Jessica of Russellville, Len Gray and wife, Shana of Benton and her friend and caregiver, Sherry Turner of Paris.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will begin immediately following at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Sam McElhaney.
