Laura Patricia White Parsons, 83, of St. Pete Beach, Florida, died Saturday, October 28, 2023, in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Patricia was born in Fulton, Mississippi on December 12, 1939, to Hester and Erline White. Patricia was a 1958 graduate of Southside High School in Memphis, Tennessee. While in high school, she played the flute and was a majorette. She later attended Memphis State.

Patricia then went on to work as a Flight Attendant for Southern Airlines. Following this, she and her late husband owned a company that manufactured sewing machine cabinets and, later, sewing thread.

Patricia spent many years living by the water and enjoyed sitting out by the ocean and reading. She had a passion for history. Her hobbies included silk ribbon embroidery, Bridge, and playing golf with fervor. Her greatest enjoyment, however, came from watching University of Memphis basketball and football with her brother.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Quentin Parsons; son, Will Brown; and parents, Hester and Erline White.

Patricia is survived by her brother, William David White of West Memphis, Arkansas.

A graveside memorial will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, at 11:30 at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
