Adrian Patrick Pirani, September 23, 1982 - November 7, 2023 (Dredge Hurley)
Adrian Pirani passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, at his second home, Dredge Hurley. He was born to Patrick Pirani and Michelle Pirani in West Memphis, AR on September 23, 1982.
Adrian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth Lamar Cissell and Freddie Margaret Bass Cissell. Paternal grandparents, Dino Pirani and Sue Pirani.
Adrian grew up farming with his Dad, Uncle Pete, and cousin Matthew Pirani. He told his boys many stories of his life on the farm with three of his favorite men. He deeply loved and adored his mom and sister. Adrian took a different path in life than most of his family that farms. His passion in life led him to the mighty Mississippi River. He proudly joined the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers in 2010 and worked his way up to the captain's position. He would tell people you can call me Captain A.
Adrian's greatest achievements in life were his two sons and wife. He and Sara Pirani married on March 16, 2012, and never stopped having fun. As soon as he would walk in their home from the boat he filled their home with love, laughter, loudness, and craziness. He gave his all and best to his sons and wife. His laugh will forever be heard around us. He always told his boys you are welcome for your good looks.
Adrian is survived by his wife, Sara Pirani; two sons Vance Patrick and Reed Anthony; parents Patrick and Michelle Pirani; sister Megan (Wayne); the largest and proudest Italian family.
The family expresses deep and special thanks to his boat family who spent his last days with him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Captain A style on Saturday November 11, 2023, at 3pm. It will be held at the Pirani farm shop at 174 East James Mill Road Crawfordsville, AR. (No Suits Allowed)
Family, friends, and his river family are encouraged to bring pictures and stories to share with his sons to remember him by.
The family requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to his two sons' college fund at Fidelity Bank in Sara Pirani's name.
