Charles Ray Watson, 76, of England, Arkansas died Saturday, November 4, 2023. Ray was born March 16, 1947 to the late Everett and Eunice Stecks Watson.
Ray was a navy Veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam War. He was the manager of Watson's Liquor Store for several years after being employed by Bale Chevrolet.
Ray had a sharp wit and enjoyed visiting with his friends and family, as well as the outdoors, especially his many float trips on the Buffalo River.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Dale Watson.
Surviving Ray is his son, Benjamin Watson of Little Rock; two brothers, Howard (Brenda) and David "Bug" Watson both of Germantown, Tennessee; a sister, Stephanie McDonald (Wallace) of Beebe; a sister-in-law, Joyce Watson of Cordova, Tennessee and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements are being handled through Roller England Funeral Home, (501)-842-3939. A private family service will be held at a later date.
