Stan William Treat, age 55, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this earthly life on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. He was born in Leslie, Arkansas on May 23rd, 1968 to S.W. Treat Jr. and Janet Evelyn Bauerlein Treat.

Stan was a proud Bobcat athlete who graduated from Marshall High School. He spent his working years as a fishing guide on the White River and later owned his own trucking business. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed taking his family camping and searching for morel mushrooms to fry. He loved to fish and especially enjoyed fishing with his granddaughter, Sophia. He will be remembered for his strong wit and ability to make anyone he met smile. He will take with him his secrets to finding so many morels and the perfect fishing spots, but the world will now have plenty of mushrooms and fish to find and catch.

Survivors include his children, James William Oliver Treat, Haley Angela Nicole Treat and Cassandra Megan Shylee Treat all of Leslie; his granddaughter, Sophia Lynn Blackwell of Leslie; his parents, S.W. and Evelyn Treat of Marshall; sister, Susan Kadlubar of Greenbrier and many extended family and friends who will also mourn his passing.

Stan is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Treat.

Graveside services for Stan will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 13th, 2023 at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat, Arkansas with Darryl Treat officiating. Friends and family will serve as bearers.
