Brigitta A. Sentivanac, known affectionately as Betty, passed away September 12, 2023 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born November 22, 1932 in Grand Haven, Michigan. She was a caring mother and friend, with a sharp wit and sense of humor. She loved her adopted home of Mountain Home and cherished the friends she made there. Strong and independent until the end, she had a positive impact on all who knew her.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her son, Joseph Jr. (Linda) and daughter, Debbie Singleton (Kelly); as well as her brothers, Dennis Cuti (Teresa) and Randy Cuti (Lois). Betty was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Rebecca Carter and Sarah Carter.
Betty graduated Grand Haven High School in 1950 and went on to obtain her nursing degree at Mount Sinai in Chicago, Illinois. After completing her education, Betty pursued a career as a Registered Nurse, working at several hospitals, including Baxter General in Mountain Home.
Betty found solace and community in her faith. She worshipped at Redeemer Lutheran Church and appreciated their support over the years.
In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned. However, those wishing to honor her memory may make charitable contributions to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
The family would like to thank the staffs of Good Samaritan Hillside Lodge Assisted Living and Hospice of the Ozarks for their conscientious care.
Betty's kind heart, strength and lively spirit will forever be remembered by those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
