Timothy Robert Dunagan was born November 25,1964. Born to Robert Edward Dunagan and Betty McGurn Dunagan. Tim's parents preceded him in death. Tim was a devoted Husband to Beki Dunagan. Father of Kyle (Elizabeth) Tiffee, Rachel (Dillon) Howard, Calhan Dunagan, Katie (Dunagan) Mastri, Ciara Dunagan and Kensley Dunagan. Grandfather to Jet. Brother to Bill (Barb) Dunagan and Mary Beth (Bill) Horst.
Tim graduated from Case Western Reserve University where he received his bachelor's degree in engineering and his master's in business administration. Tim pursued a career in engineering, in the steel forging industry. Later in life he chased his dream of rebuilding sailboats.
Tim loved his family, his children and most of all his only grandchild, Jet. Tim was such a good father, but he took such pride in being a "Pa T" to Jet. He spent most of Jet's life taking him on adventures, doing wild and crazy things as Jet would call it and teaching him as much as he could. Some other memorable events with Jet were Disney World, Mount Rushmore and many adventures around Colorado.
Beki and Tim loved road-trips together, they visited 29 states and 4 locations outside the U.S. Their favorite places were Seaside in the fall and Eden Isle during the summer. The family got to spend one last beach trip at Seaside together and their annual Fourth of July trip with Connie, Sissy and Shayna. This was the 16th year for the annual 4th of July trip. Another memorable trip for Tim was the trip with his brother, Bill in 2020, through the Erie Canal - Tim had shirts made for the trip and named the boat, "the Bette and Bob" after their parents.
If you knew Tim very well you knew he could fix anything from household projects (Beki might tell you that these were less fun for him so they took him longer to get done), he fixed everyone's cars (Misty, Kim, Rachel's, Kyle's, Liz's, Courtney's and even random strangers who needed something done) and he did everyone's taxes, he even defended a tax audit for his mother in law, Mary Jane once! Keep in mind he was not a CPA! A sweet story the family loves is how during Tim's mom's stay at Providence Assisted Living, Tim helped many of the CNAs who worked there by doing their taxes because they took such good care of his mom. It just really shows Tim's heart. He truly cared about others and always wanted to help.
The family wishes to thank all of those who have prayed for, supported and brought meals in the last few weeks. A special thank you to Trey and McKenzie Price for all their help with Tim's pride and joy, his boats and trailers! Tim felt so moved by their offer and willingness to help him. He mentioned it so many times in his final couple weeks.
The family request a private visitation and service.
