Edward Odell Bentrum, 35, of Lamar, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Pennington, AL. He was born March 12, 1988, in Clarksville, AR to Tammy Dee (Bentrum) Neville. Edward was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving two tours in Afghanistan. He enjoyed building cars, playing Xbox, guns, trucks, and hanging out with his friends. He was working for Boldt as a superintendent in Pennington, AL.

Edward is preceded in death by his mother Tammy Dee (Bentrum) Neville; grandmother Ethel Geneva Battles, adopted parents Jack & Gail Gilmer.

He is survived by one sister Ginny (Randy) Aday; three brothers Jackie Bentrum, Billy (Christi) Butler, & Charles Davidson; ex-wife Lauren Killough Bentrum; aunt Paula Holt; uncles Jody Gilmer & Sherman (Yvonne) Bentrum; niece Hazel Butler; nephew Jace Bentrum; numerous other family & friends, and numerous Military Brothers.

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Roller-Cox Funeral Home with Michael Willis officiating. Graveside service and burial with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard and the River Valley Marine Corps League will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 7, 2023, at Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith.
