Eldora Godfrey

Ethel "Eldora" Godfrey, 93, of Greenbrier, Arkansas was born on November 10, 1929 in Haskell, Oklahoma to the late Martin and Fannie Lee (Sanders) Hoyle and went to be with her Lord on June 16, 2023. She was a talented lady who enjoyed writing songs and poetry. Eldora was a skilled seamstress and quilter. Her talents also included painting beautiful paintings which her family and friends still enjoy.

Eldora is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dorval J. Godfrey, her parents and all of her brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Eudora Wise of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Elaine Cook and husband, Greg of Loganville, Georgia, Dennis Godfrey and wife, Rose of Greenbrier, Arkansas; five grandchildren; Angela Bridges, Christie Godfrey Kaye, Clint Cook, Casie Cook McLure, Carie Cook Marcus; eleven great grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Justin, Cale, Shaleigh, Harmony, Aliah, Jacob, Noah, Landen, Nolan; three great great grandchildren, Emery, Oliver, Anna Belle and a host of other relatives and many friends.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Graveside services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rupert.
