Robert Augustus Harris, 75, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2023. He was born on October 28, 1947, in West Helena, Arkansas, to William Thomas and Sue Elizabeth Harris.

Robert bravely served in the United States Army, serving three tours in Vietnam. He would share stories of his plane jumping days as a military parachutist. His dedication and work led to him proudly becoming a 101st Airborne Ranger. Back at home, his hardworking nature was dedicated to providing for his family. Robert also enjoyed time on the lake and was an avid water skier.

He is survived by his sons, BJ Harris (wife, Sarah) and Ronnie Harris (wife, Cristal); 2 grandchildren, Tyson and Harper Harris; sister, Linda Mahnker (husband, Wayne); niece, Carmen Mallard (husband, Pete); great niece, Melody Mallard; and a multitude of extended family and friends.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Kathy Harris; parents, William Thomas and Sue Elizabeth Harris; and brother, Tommy Harris.
