of Little Rock, AR
July 28, 1949 - May 29, 2023
David George Peresko, 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas was called home to be with the Lord May 29, 2023. He was born July 28, 1949 in Kansas City, Kansas to Joseph and Clara Peresko.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired in 2019 from the United States Postal Service. He was #1 in seniority and he had been awarded multiple Safe Driving Awards, all things he was very proud of. I cannot imagine there was ever a bigger Kansas City Chiefs fan. (Don't worry about that, you passed that on and Peresko's will be rooting for the Chiefs for generations to come, always in your honor!). No matter what you called him; Dave, Slick, Godfather, Bobby, Dad, Pawpaw; I think everyone would agree that where he really shone was with his family and friends. He never met a stranger, people were simply drawn to him. There's nothing he wouldn't do for the people he loved and in return he retained some of the most amazing lifelong friends that became family.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda; children, Merika and Lyle (Gale); grandchildren, Sabrina (Antoine), Gage and Caelin; great grandson, Kaiden; siblings, Dan, Sandy (Dennis), Pete (Marguerite) and countless friends and family that will always cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Monday, June 12, 2023 in the Chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow 10 am Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church with burial at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
