Travis Charles Kapoo Hoomalu, 17, of Greenbrier, AR passed away on April 28, 2023.

Travis was born in Great Falls, MT to Jason and Jessica Hoomalu (nee Dustrude) on March 28, 2006. A happy and fun-loving child, he was always creating new ways to entertain and make people laugh. He was passionate when it came to loving the people in his life and in the causes he believed in. He had a tremendously caring heart that was felt by everyone.

Despite being a type I diabetic for more than ten years of his life, Travis never let the disease define him or hinder his ambitions. Throughout his life, he was active in multiple sports such as hockey and soccer and he loved to be outside, spending time kayaking and swimming, fishing and hunting, skateboarding and exploring the local woods with his friends.

Travis attended high school in Greenbrier and received his diploma in March of this year. He was enrolled in the welding program at the University of Arkansas Community College in Morrilton, AR and planned to start classes in the fall. He had a gift for ingenuity and artistry and no doubt would have made a success out of his chosen career. His favorite hobbies included reading, skateboarding, video games, spending time with friends and family and most recently, Legos.

Travis is survived by his mother, Jessica Kemper; father, Jason Hoomalu; stepfather, Robert Kemper and sister, Ally Hoomalu. He has a large number of extended family and friends from who love and miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home at 115 S. Broadview, Greenbrier, AR on May 5, 2023 from 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held at the Roller McNutt Funeral Home on May 6, 2023 at 2pm.
