Douglas John Gengler, 65, died Friday, April 14, 2023 at his home in Knoxville with his loving wife, Dixie, at his side. He was born October 25, 1957 in Hawthorne, California to Jack and Shirley (Singer) Gengler. Doug was devoted to his family and his country, serving five years in the Air Force. He was also a talented carpenter.

He is preceded in death by one son, Adam and his parents, Jack and Shirley Gengler.

Doug is survived by his wife, Dixie; two daughters, Bobbie Crinella and husband, Joel and Katie McGuire and husband, David; two grandchildren, Zayden and Eli; one brother, Tom Gengler and seven sisters, Pat Lehner, Deb Conley, Doris Weiler, Marlene Estabrook, Pam Dhaan, Lori Conley and Amy Gengler.
