Michael Dean Cash (Mike), was a life-long resident of Marshall, Arkansas where he spent his life working at Cash's Service Center. Mike died unexpectedly on April 12th, 2023 at the age of 70. Mike was born in Marshall, Arkansas on November 6th, 1952 to Haskell and Blanche Treat Cash. It is often said that his older brother Harold, who was ten years older helped raise him.

Mike graduated from Marshall High School on May 8th, 1970. Mike, his brother Harold, and his father Haskell worked side by side as mechanics at Cash's Amoco Station. During his life, Mike continuously served his community. He served 2 terms on the Marshall City Council. Mike spent 25 plus years performing the duties as one of Marshall's volunteer firefighters, where he sought to keep his community safe. He was an active member of the Marshall Church of Christ where he served as church treasurer. Mike was married to his wife Johnett Cash for 34 years. As a team, they raised three children, Michele Cash Ragland, Mygan Pruitt, and Dustin Horton all of Marshall. One of Mike's favorite things was when he went fishing with Johnett on White River. Mike could be found on a nice morning sitting outside on the deck drinking coffee with Johnett before they started their day. He was a hunter and a fisherman who enjoyed going hunting and camping with his friends and family. When he wasn't working at the station, Mike spent his time with Johnett and his family. He enjoyed working in the garden, hunting with his nephew Tracy, and hunting with his grandsons. He found delight in waking up early and cooking breakfast for his grand daughters who had spent the night at his house. Mike loved his dogs and went home every day at noon to change them out and make sure they were okay. Mike was a quiet person most of the time, but when he stepped back in time and retold a story from his youth, everyone stopped to listen.
