Chris Mullins, 61, of Oakland, Mississippi passed away in Pope, Mississippi on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. He was born in Osceola, AR on January 24, 1962 to Thomas Milton Mullins and Jo Ann Shannon. Chris worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Tallahatchie County Correctional Facility and was a member of Wardell Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Chris is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Shannon; son, Jeremy (Blythe) Mullins; grandsons, Reid and Gunnar Mullins; brother, Keith (Carrie) Sawyer; niece, Monica Tucker; nephews, Brandon (Jennifer) Sawyer and Jacob Sawyer; three great-nieces and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Mullins and brother, Charles "Bubba" Mullins. The Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Roller-Swift Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the funeral following at 2:00 pm.
