Jerry Matthew Brazear, 59, of Ward passed from this life on February 26, 2023 leaving his two children, Lanzy and Willis (Katie) Brazear; his loving parents, Gary and Jo Brazear; brother, Brooks and sister, Lori (Eddie) Bowren. His grandchildren are Rhett and Colt Brazear. He is also survived by his wife, Kristen and her children, Jordan and Jacob. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Bud and Farrell Beard and Mae Thomas and Julian Brazear.

Matt was a master craftsman and loved building and gardening. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He was quick to share his strong opinions on controversial matters but was equally as eager to share his faith in God. Matt loved his dogs and preferred them over most people.

Services will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 3 with Brother Steven Tiner officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. A private burial will follow the services. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to a charity of your choice.
