Margery Marie Willbanks, known endearingly as Marie, of Walnut Ridge passed away February 22, 2023 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born May 10, 1935 in Attica, MI to Charles Robert and Rosie Esstella Newbold. Margery enjoyed crocheting, baking and was a master of making fried chicken and yeast rolls.

Surviving Marie are five sons, Lawton, Charles (Charley), Clifford, Larry, Kelvin and Teddy Willbanks; daughter, Rosemary Lowery; grandchildren, Chris, Todd, Tommy, Nathan, Nichole, Michael, Amber, Tina, Christopher, Zachary, Felicia, Natalie, Justin, Brandon, Susan, Patricia, James, Timothy, Shon and Sarah and sister, Lois "Jo" Curtis Bamberga.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband of forty-two years, George Willbanks; her sons, Phillip and Jerry Willbanks; granddaughters, Bridgett, Cassandra and child; siblings, Robert Newbold, Ruby Eberts, Lilly Teal, Orville Newbold, Vera Curtis, Vernon Newbold, Leonard Newbold and Roger Newbold.

Funeral services will be at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home on Monday, February 27th at 2:00pm, with Willie Willbanks officiating. Interment follows at Pine Log Cemetery.

Visitation will precede the service at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
