Nell Kimbrell Allen, 90, of Hamburg, Arkansas was born May 12, 1932 on the Old Wade Place in Calhoun County, Mississippi. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was a teacher, mentor, leader and often an instigator of good trouble, but most of all she was our sister, aunt, mother and Mamaw, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a member of North Crossett First Baptist Church. She is survived by her four children, Kim Allen (wife, Tina and children, Will, Jason and Whitney), Robin Allen (wife, Karen and children, Amber, Alicia and Ross), Scottye Allen and son, Nathan Roop, Averie Nash (husband, David and children, Lillian and Michael). She cherished and was loved dearly by 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Sanna Burlison, Nita Johnston and her brother, Jack Kimbrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Ernie Kimbrell; her brother, Jim Kimbrell and her loving husband, Jimmy Allen. The positive impact of her life on all of those she has touched is a legacy to which we should all aspire. The visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm. Interment: Mississippi County Memorial Gardens. The Family has requested, that in Lieu of Flowers, please make donations to Rivercrest School Library Fund.
