Linda Marie Sercomb, 80, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on November 19, 2022, in Fort Smith.
Linda was born July 3, 1942, in Paris, Arkansas to her parents, Otis Gilbert and Alma Marie (Thomas) Gilbert. She worked as a beautician in California after graduating from Beauty College and was also a licensed real estate agent alongside her husband Ronald Sercomb. Linda retired after working twenty-two years for the Social Security Administration to spend time with her children. Linda loved to go camping, water skiing, painting, and writing poetry. During her later years she would work jig-saw puzzles and crosswords to keep her mind active and sharp.
She is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above; two brothers, Dale Gilbert, and Larry Gilbert; three sisters, Alene Appleton, Bobbie Wilson, and Wanda Schneider.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-one years, Ronald Sercomb; two sons, Marc Sercomb and wife, Robin of Sylmar, California and Timothy Sercomb of Lavaca, Arkansas; one daughter, Cari Sercomb of Lavaca, Arkansas; other family members, friends, and several fur babies.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris officiated by Rev. Bob Loyd with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery.
Funeral service and arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Tim Sercomb, Marc Sercomb, Steve Forbis, Chris Sisemore, John McArthur and Jacob McArthur.
Honorary pallbearer will be Gentry McArthur.
