Matthew Tyler Ward, age 35, of Russellville, Arkansas passed away Friday October 28, 2022 at his home.

Matt was born December 6, 1986 in Harrison to Rodney and Karla (Burleson) Ward. He was a 2006 graduate of Yellville-Summit High School, drove a truck for several years and had been employed as a driver for Waste Management. He was a member of Home Church in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Matt was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He enjoyed outdoors hunting, fishing and camping with his children and riding his motorcycle. If you were Matt's friend, he was your loyal friend.

Matt is survived by his wife, Kristal Ward of Russellville, Arkansas; his son, Jace Chandler Ward; his daughters, Leslie Mae Ward and Kali Janelle Ward all of Russellville; his parents, Rod Ward and Karla Ward of Yellville; his sister, Jennifer Cope (Ryan) of Russellville; his mother-in-law, Susan Wagoner (Maurice File) of Alton, Illinois and his father-in-law, James Shelton of Harrison, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Keesee Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Shaffer and Sammy Burns officiating.

Pallbearers will be Randy Holbrook, Eli Shelton, Aaron Brock, Jake Moses, Patrick Chaney and Richard Rogers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jace Ward, Donald Rogers and James Moses.
