December 3, 1982 - September 28, 2022
Mechelle LeAnn Imhoff was born on December 3, 1982. She arrived during a tornado and was a whirlwind in our lives until September 28, 2022 when she left for her Heavenly residence with her Savior Jesus Christ. Mechelle accepted Christ as her Savior and was baptized at the age of 10. She attended Sylvan Hills High School and received her Associates Degree from UALR. At the age of 16, she met the love of her life, Eric Imhoff. After dating 10 years, they tied the knot on March 8, 2008.
Mechelle was affectionately nicknamed Spitfire by her grandfather. She was a life force that never missed an opportunity to have an adventure or make a friend. She enjoyed building a Jeep that she named Thunderkat and was sponsored by suppliers to have the Jeep displayed at the National SEMA Convention. She had followers all over the country on her social media that took an interest in the customized build of the Jeep. She convinced her sister, Melinda that jumping out of a perfectly good airplane would be fun, so they did. She enjoyed kayaking, running marathons, mixed martial arts and dove hunting. She was a devoted Pittsburg Steelers fan, win or lose.
Never one to look away from someone in need, she organized fund raisers for Camp Sunshine and sleeping bag donations for "The Van", for the homeless. She organized dog food donations for local animal shelters
Mechelle spent the last 15 years of her life working at the family business, Hodge Fabrication Incorporated. She performed such an array of duties that she was given the title of Company All Around Awesome Chick. She handled the social media account, American Institute of Steel Construction documentation, billing, reception, payroll and many other duties and entertaining her Boss Dad.
She is preceded by her grandparents, James and Maxine Whitehead, Murry and Gladys Hodge and her grandfather by choice, John Phillips
She is survived by the love of her life, her loving husband, Eric Imhoff; her parents, Mark and Patty Hodge; her sister, Melinda Burke (Richard) who she loved with her whole heart and her grandmother, Inez Whitehead; her devoted companions, Whiskey and Mia; as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
