Matthew Oral Wallis, 35, of Fox, Arkansas left this life suddenly on Sunday, September 18, 2022. As usual Matt was on the job, rounding up cattle, with his dog, Jake by his side.

Matt was born on Tuesday, August 18, 1987 to Donnie and Peggy Wallis in Little Rock, Arkansas. After graduating Rural Special High School in 2006, Matt went to work for Kocher Cattle in Fox. He was a valued and dependable employee for sixteen years. He was a hard worker and always gave 100 percent. Matt was more than just an employee to those to whom he worked with, he was family and a best friend. Also, for the past several years, Matt has been a member of the Fox Volunteer Fire Department. According to the Fire Chief, he never missed a fire call.

On October 29, 2016 Matt married his beautiful wife, Pamela Kay King. They have two daughters, Bailey Rose, age 5 and Madison Grace, age 4 months.

Matt loved the outdoors. When he was not working, he loved to hunt and fish with family and friends. He especially enjoyed coon hunting and had won several competitions with his coon dogs. Matt also enjoyed spending time with his wife's family, Danny and Frances King in Reeves, Louisiana.

Matt is survived by his wife, Pamela; two daughters, Bailey and Madison; parents, Billy Joe and Peggy Green, Donnie and Joyce Wallis; three brothers, Chris Cossey (Jamie), Donnie Wallis, Joesph Green (MacKenzie); two sisters, Laci Rose (Dennis), Sarah Smith (Adam) and several nieces and nephews.

Matt was a beloved son, husband, father and friend. He left this life much too soon for all who knew him. We love you Matt Wallis!

Funeral Services for Matt will be 2PM Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas with Brother Daren Holliman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will follow at Sunnyland Cemetery in Fox, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Chris Cossey, Jimmy (Pedro) Green, Dustin Haddock, Bradly Kocher, Jason Kocher and Joseph Green. Honorary Pallbearers will be Anthony Smith, Adam Smith, Buddy Stone and Shane Dearien.

Roller-Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
