Paul Young, 67, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 in Paris. He was born on August 5, 1955 in Paris to his parents, Leland and Della (Bullock) Young.

Paul retired from Black Hills Energy after 40 years of service. He was a devoted husband and dedicated father and grandfather, who was always known for his work ethic. Whether at work or home, he was working hard and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone that was in need. He enjoyed working in his garden and volunteering as coach for his children's baseball teams. He served on the Paris Volunteer Fire Department for over 25 years, was a past member and president of the Paris Area Chamber of Commerce and served on the City of Paris Planning and Zoning Committee.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Lola Gray and two brothers, J.D. Young and Darrell Young.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Jane Young of Paris; one daughter, Melissa Blair of Paris; three sons, Ricky Lavorin of Russellville, Nathan Young and wife, Mai Luu of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Matthew Young and wife, Jessica of Russellville; four granddaughters, Isabella Blair, Gabriella Blair, Ireland Lavorin and Remi Young and four grandsons, Liam Young, Lachlan Young, Leo Young and Archer Young.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Paris Volunteer Fire Department.
