Jose Everardo Acosta, age 42, of Cedar Hill, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was born on Friday, June 20, 1980 in Memphis, Tennessee, to Emilio Acosta and the late Maria Lucio Acosta. Jose spent his days working as a construction worker.

He is survived by two sons, Jose Acosta Jr. and Alex Acosta of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters Aubrey Acosta and Angel Acosta of Atlanta, Georgia; father, Emilio Acosta of Houston Texas; one sister, Susana Sanchez (Jonn) of Ceder Hill, Texas; three brothers, Emilio Acosta (Yolanda) of Cedar Hill, Texas Dale Acosta of Forrest City, Arkansas and Juan Acosta (Leslie) of Marianna, Arkansas; three nieces, Jennifer Sanchez, Jessica Sanchez and Dayley Acosta; three nephews, John Sanchez Jr., Juan Sanchez Jr., and Kyle Acosta.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Maria Lucio Acosta; grandfather, Felix Lucio Cortez; grandmother Antonia Hinojosa Cortez.

A funeral service for Jose Euerardo will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, Chapel. A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. prior to service time. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Father Frank Travis will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Emilio Acosta, John Sanchez, John Sanchez Jr., Dale Acosta, and Tony Acosta.
