Cora Virginia Williams

of Paris, AR

June 25, 1931 - August 12, 2022

Cora Virginia Williams, Christian, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, passed away on August 12, 2022. She was born on June 25th 1931 in Sevierville (Walden's Creek), TN.

Cora married her dearly loved Walter on February 16th, 1951 in Knoxville, TN. In 1956 Walter and Cora moved to California with their young son, Jerius and their family grew with the birth of Tony the same year. Cora and Walter remained life partners in God until his passing in 2008.

In addition to raising a family, Cora was an expert seamstress and after continuing her education, worked as a part-time teacher. Cora and Walter worked together on many projects demonstrating their faith and belief in God, including a roadside ministry, pastoring churches and Christian teaching. Cora also penned "A Walk with Elohim".

In her later years, Cora enjoyed dressmaking for dolls, gardening, expert level sudoku and playing dominoes at the senior center. Much of her time was spent reading her bible and learning about God and his wonders. Cora will always be remembered for her strong faith in God and loving her family.

Cora is survived by her loving family, including her brother, James; sons, Jerius and Tony; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and her great great grandchild. Cora was loved by everyone, remembered for her strong faith in God, her pleasant demeanor and being a lady. Cora will be greatly missed, however, those that knew her rejoice in the knowledge that she is safe and happy with the Lord in Heaven.
