Elsie Marie Harding, 95, went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2022.

Elsie was born December 3, 1926 in Marvell, AR. She met the love of her life, John "Jr." Harding and they were married 69 1/2 years. Elsie lived in West Memphis for 65 years. She was an active member of Angels Way Baptist Church for many years. Elsie and Jr. enjoyed many years of playing golf at Meadowbrook Country Club, where she won the club championship several times. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Harding, Jr.; her parents; four sisters and one brother. Also, her son-in-law, Bill Evans and granddaughter, Amy Greene.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sherry Evans, Betty Reece (Dickie); grandchildren, Richard Reece (Cathy), Lynde Reece, Chris Reece; great grandsons, Connor Reece (Kaitlin), Evan Reece (Melissa), Jacob Greene, Jackson Greene; great great grandchildren, Elsie Reece and Levi Reece.

The family is very thankful and appreciative for the staff at Dierkson Hospice for the love and care for her during her illness.
There will be a visitation on August 1st at 11:00am at Angels Way Baptist Church in Marion, AR, followed by a memorial service at 12:00pm.
Interment is at Crittenden Memorial Park.
