William Patrick "Pat" McNamee, of Jonesboro, graced this earth with his presence from May 14, 1962 until July 25, 2022 at the age of 60. Pat was one of the most compassionate souls to ever walk the earth. Pat was no ordinary man, husband, father (father-in-law) or grandfather. Pat was best friend and protector to his loving wife. He was best friends with his sons. He was a doting grandfather.

Pat received his Electronics Associates Degree from Arapaho College in Denver and went on to master every craft that he touched. Pat began working at SignMaster of Jonesboro in 1985 and had climbed the ranks to plant manager by the time he left in 1999. Pat would give anyone the shirt off his back, whether family, friend, stranger or foe.

Pat fought like a champion, but lost the battle on July 25. He was surrounded by loved ones.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" Thomas McNamee and Grace (Elrod) McNamee.

Pat leaves behind his wife, Sheila; sons, William Patrick II (Rachel) and Timothy (Brittney); grandchildren, Carissa (Aaron), Cannon, Austin, Rylan and Kaydence; soon to arrive great granddaughter, Baylen and siblings, Michael Perry (Olga), Phyllis Kendrick (Danny) and Tim McNamee (Reba). Pat also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, who absolutely adored him. Pat was a great man and will be missed by so many.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 31, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Avenue in Jonesboro. There will be a visitation with friends and family from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 3:00 pm.
