Shawn Dean Penn, age 55, of Harrison passed away July 19, 2022, at UMAS Little Rock, Arkansas surrounded by his family. He was born March 21, 1967, in Rapid City, South Dakota to Ronald Penn and Barbara (Bailey)Tucker.

Shawn attended First Baptist Church in Omaha, Arkansas. He liked collecting coins, playing golf, and video games with his son. Shawn joined the Navy in 1986. He served six years and was awarded service medals for his bravery, M- l6 Sharpshooter Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal,45 Cal Marksman, Good Conduct, and Humanitarian Service Medal. Shawn married Tracy Thompson on Valentine's Day in 2021. He and Tracy had met while in junior high school in White Hall, Arkansas.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Tracy Penn, of the home; son, Jacob Penn of Hot Springs, Arkansas; mother, Barbara Tucker of White Hall, Arkansas; father; Ronald Penn, and wife, Doris of Raymond, Iowa; sisters, Teresa Ashcraft, and husband, John of White Hall, Arkansas, Shannon Stolle and husband, Chris of Wentzville, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Francis Dillon; step-daughter, Jordan Davis, and husband, Michael of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren, Camden and Jasper Davis; nieces, Jessica Harper and husband, Colby, Janie Ashcraft, Jennie Ashcraft, McKenna Stolle and nephew, Parker Stolle. Shawn will be deeply missed by many friends and family.



The funeral service was held Saturday, July 23, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Omaha, Arkansas with Reverend Gene France and Reverend Colby Harper officiating. Visitation was one hour before service.
