Brenda Alvern Burks, 59, a resident of Subiaco, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2022 at her home.

She was born December 28, 1962 in Benton to the late Charles Johnson and Willie Mosley.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald "Pops" Burks; a grandson, Carter Arias and a brother, Danny Johnson.

Survivors include three sons, Donald Blaine Burks of Alexander; Brennan Ray Burks of Subiaco and Brad Allen Burks of Paris; a daughter, Bethany Burks of Russellville; eight grandchildren, Adalyn Alvern Whorton, Robert Allen Ray Whorton, Donald Ray Burks, Jr., Makayla Burks, Logan Campbell, Natalie RaeDale Burks, Shawn Campbell and Layla Burks and a sister, Tammy Mosley of Alexander.

Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
