Nelda Ruth Dean of Greenbrier went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 3rd, 2022 at the age of 88. She was born August 22, 1933 in Mississippi to the late Grady and Leona Franks. Nelda and her husband, John, moved to Greenbrier in 1971 with their son and daughter. She began working at Baldwin Piano Co. and continued until retirement. Nelda was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Greenbrier. She loved her church and church family. Her favorite past time was going fishing, playing cards and board games with her kids and grandkids. She was a very special "Granny" to them all.

Nelda was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; two sisters; husband, John R. Dean Jr. and grandsons, George Dean and Adam Dean.

She is survived by her children, Robert Dean, Becky (Randy) Roberts, David (Clarissa) Dean all of Greenbrier; grandchildren, Miranda (Larry) Mahan, Josh (Jill) Roberts, Rusty (Emily) Dean, Andrew Dean, Jennifer (Nick) Stahl and Jeff Dean all of Greenbrier; great grandchildren, Miller Mahan, Lillee Mahan, Salter Mahan, Presley Roberts, Parker Roberts, Riley Dean, Jake Dean, Mac Dean, Brayden Dean, Avery Bush, Austin Bush, Londynn Dean and Kooper Dean; sister, Rachel (Paul) Henson of Georgia and numerous niece, nephews, church family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:00AM Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will follow at 10:00AM Thursday at the Funeral Home with Burial following at Republican Cemetery in Greenbrier, AR.
