LeVerna Harger, 104, a resident of Paris, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022, at her home.
She was born June 2, 1917, in Lonoke to the late William Asbury and Lillie Louise (Dove) McDade. LeVerna and husband, Arden moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1954 where she worked for Kerr Glass Company for over 20 years. After retiring they returned home to their farm in Greasy Valley in 1979. LeVerna was a member of Harmony Assembly of God near Paris. In her spare time, LeVerna enjoyed quilting, reading and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Arden Harger; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ruth Harger; a son-in-law, Bobbie Grissom; four brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include a son, Charles Harger of Paris; a daughter, Mary Grissom of Paris; seven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, twenty-six great great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tammy Frederick officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Online guestbook available www.rollerfuneralhomes.com/paris.
