Lisa Storey Audirsch departed this life on March 11, 2022.
She was born Lisa Carol Storey on January 3, 1964, to Ronald Coleman Storey and Hazel Hindsley Storey of Marvell, Arkansas. Lisa attended Marvell Academy, where she excelled in academics and sports. She also helped her family on their father's farm. She attended college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Lisa married in 1984 and began a family of her own in Helena-West Helena. She devoted herself to her three daughters, Lisa Kathryn ''Katie'' Lambert, Kristyn Bennett Lambert, and Karoline Storey Lambert. She was an exceptional mother who emphasized learning, respect, love and kindness.
In 2004, Lisa earned her degree in nursing with honors from Phillips County Community College of the University of Arkansas (PCCUA). She began her nursing career in the ER at Helena Regional Medical Center. In 2006, she became a nursing instructor at PCCUA. Lisa's career as an instructor was incredibly fulfilling, and she cared deeply for her colleagues and students.
In 2015 she married Dr. Lance Paul Audirsch. She and Lance enjoyed working, travelling, dining, spending time with friends and being outdoors. Lisa not only managed their chiropractic office, she imbued the practice with her intelligence, her excellence in medicine and her capacity to genuinely care for and love others.
Lisa cherished her children, had fun with her friends, prized laughter and touched countless lives. She was admired by all who knew her, and she knew the love she so generously shared was reciprocated.
Lisa is survived by her husband, her daughters, her mother, her brother Ronald Curtis Storey (wife Phyllis), son Luke Audirsch, daughter Lindsay Audirsch Guest (Chase), granddaughter Audie Lou Guest, her sister Sherry Lynette Storey, along with many other family members and friends who will profoundly miss her. She was preceded in death by her beloved father Ronald.
A memorial service will be held at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Pavilion on Thursday, March 17, at 1:00 pm.
