Lola G. Wood, 88, of Lamar, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Russellville, Arkansas. She was born June 8, 1933, in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Lillian Alice (Smith) Alderson. Lola enjoyed singing, playing the guitar and piano. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Lola is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Lillian Alice (Smith) Alderson, her daughter Donna Brousseau, one brother Son Alderson, three sisters Wanda O'Brien, Daisy Call, and Mary Thomas.
She is survived by six sons Terry (Rosemary) Holman; Roger (Kathy) Holman; Dean (Teri) Holman; Jimmy (Sheri) Holman; Rocky (Daniel) Holman; and Billy (Cindy) Fox; three daughters Jane (Mike) Martin; JoAnn Wood; and Deborah (Devoe) Ramsey; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; one brother Johnny (Maria) Alderson; two sisters Betty Holman and Ruby Roby; and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Knoxville Cemetery in Knoxville, Arkansas with Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow.
