Mary Alice Tatom Simmons Maulden, 85, of Mabelvale, AR. went to her heavenly home surrounded by her family on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on November 30, 1936, to the late Elbert Miller Tatom and Mary Louisa Wells.

Mary was a social worker for the CADC for 36 years. She was a lifelong member of Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Her hobbies included crocheting, quilting, puzzles and spending quality time with her family. For stress relief she would often visit the casino and have fun in Hot Springs.

She is survived in life by seven children, Rhonda Godwin (Bo), Robert Simmons (Sandra), Mary Shaw (Scott), Terry Simmons (Dorothy), Sharon Qandah (George), Timothy Simmons (Belinda) and Betty Gurney (Arron), 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Her brother, Miller Tatom, sister, Agnes Miller.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 28, at Olive Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 14514 Chicot Road, Mabelvale, Arkansas, with Pastor Randy Hester officiating. Memorials may be made to the church.
