Catherine (Kitty) Pegoraro, 68, of Choctaw, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2022. Catherine was born August 26, 1953, to the late Charles Hayes and Mary Brainard.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Phillip Pegoraro; a son, Charlie Cox; her sisters, Nina Hayes of Conway and Mary Cratty of Cabot, her brother, Stephen Hayes of Oswago, Illinois, her step-sister, Richelle McWilliams of Bee Branch, Arkansas, and step-brother, Dave Brainard of Iowa, along with many nieces and nephews.

Catherine is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Hayes of Chicago and Mary Brainard of Bee Branch, Arkansas, her sister, Linda Taylor of Arizona and step-father, Davey Brainard.

Catherine loved her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and going to the casino. She enjoyed watching the birds outside her window. She had a great heart and would do anything for anyone. Catherine retired from Conway Human Development Center.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her honor to the Van Buren County Animal Control Shelter, 187 Tester St, Clinton, AR 72031
