Edna Faye Nugent Mitchell, age 70, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at her home in Helena, Arkansas. She was born January 16, 1951 to Jewel Dean Carson and Lee Nugent. Edna worked at Kelly's Restaurant, now known as Lacey's, for 25 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Louise Mitchell; step son, Everett Mitchell (Sue) of Helena; two step daughters, Vera Godwin of Helena and Mary Tipton of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; sister, Mary Lee Williams; leaving behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luther Floyd Mitchell; parents; step father, Albert George Carson; brother, Elmer Joe Nugent; sister, Debra Housen; step son, Luther George Mitchell; three step daughters, Martha Edwards, Doris Lawrence, and Patricia Braden.
