Franklin Pierce Narramore, age 84, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Monday December 6, 2021 at his home. He was born June 7, 1937 at Georges Creek, five miles west of Yellville, to the late Charlie and Essie (Pierce) Narramore.
Frank graduated from Yellville Summit High School, and served for six years in the Army National Guard. He managed and maintained Yellville Cable System for 40 years. Frank was a member of Ozark Music Center, the Amateur Radio Club, built and flew radio controlled airplanes and was a member of the Radio Control Flying Club. He played music and sang at numerous jam sessions, nursing homes, and Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts. He served on the Yellville Fire Department for 20 years, six of those as chief, and retired as assistant chief.
Mr. Narramore is survived by his son Frank Narramore, Jr. of Batesville, Arkansas; his daughter Judith Kane of Batesville, Arkansas; his step-daughter Jennifer Hensley of Harrison, Arkansas; his brother Charles Narramore of Diana, Texas; and a dear friend Joyce Pumford of Gassville, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his sister Sibyl Parker and his brother Jack Narramore.
Visitation for will be 1:00 - 2:00 pm Saturday December 11, 2021 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home in Yellville, Arkansas.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville.
Interment will follow at Georges Creek Cemetery near Yellville.
