Bobby ''Bob'' James Carter, age 59, of Harrison, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by his family. Bob was born September 13, 1962, in Harrison, to James Henry and Marion (Reed) Carter, who preceded him in death.

Bob loved to fish and hunt with his brother and spend time with his family.

Bob is survived by his brother, Robby Carter, of Harrison; his nephew, Robert James Carter, of Harrison; and a host of other family and friends.


Visitation was Tuesday, December 7, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

The funeral service was Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, with Brother Eddie Reed officiating.

Interment was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robby Carter, Robert Carter, Doug Hankins, James Wallace, Daniel Kolb, and Jeremy Dura.

Honorary pallbearers were James Reynolds and Bud Atkinson.
