Christine worked hard all her life, leaving school at a very young age to help support her family after her father was injured in an accident. She wore a hat of many colors and had many talents that many never knew. She was known for her donuts, dinner rolls, pies and of course her chocolate rolls. Mother taught many how to make her chocolate rolls. She worked in many kitchens throughout her life and spread love, happiness and a smile to all that came in touch with her. She and her sister, Jeanette was always up to something and nobody was spared from their pranks. Christine never turned anyone away from her home. She always made room and set another plate for anyone. No matter how broke or how tired she was, Christine went to work and took care of her family and never asked for anything for herself. With a family her size there are many, many stories; stories of pain, sorrow, laughter, love and perseverance. If mom could tell us anything right now, it would be she loves us all and cherished each and everyone in her life. Her belief and love for God, her Savior, was a stronger love than any. Her faith and belief pulled her through many storms. She never wavered in her convictions and her love for God. As you remember her today, remember her smile, her twinkling baby blue eyes and how she loved everyone. Pay it forward. Always help another, always be kind, have a kind word for those who may be suffering a pain you do not know. Only God is allowed to judge us. Until we all shall meet you again, go rest in your new home and know you did good.
